Keepa raised its prices in 2026: cheaper ways to track Amazon listings
Keepa went from €19 to €29 a month in February 2026. What changed, who it hits, where Keepa still wins, and when a per-ASIN tracker is the cheaper fit.

“Has anyone found a good alternative to Keepa?” has been one of the most-asked questions in seller forums since February 2026, and the honest answer depends on what you used Keepa for. If you lived in its price-history charts and its browser extension, there is no like-for-like replacement, and this guide will say so. If you mainly watched a defined set of ASINs — your own catalogue and a handful of competitors — you were paying database prices for a tracking job, and that job has cheaper homes. Here is what changed, who it affects, and how to move without losing the data you care about.
What changed at Keepa in 2026
On 3 February 2026 Keepa raised its subscription from €19 to €29 a month, roughly €290 a year. There was no grandfathering: existing subscribers moved to the new price rather than keeping the old one. The free tier was cut back at the same time. Coverage did not grow with the bill — Keepa still tracks 11 marketplaces (amazon.com, .co.uk, .de, .co.jp, .fr, .ca, .it, .es, .in, .com.mx and .com.br), and amazon.nl, .se, .pl, .com.be and .com.au are still not among them. The Keepa API remains a separate paid product on top of the subscription.
Who the rise actually hits
Keepa charges per account, not per ASIN, so the bill is the same whether you look up five products a month or five hundred. That is a fair deal for a research operation that queries thousands of listings. It is a poor one for the seller who opens Keepa a few times a week to check their own products and the competitors beside them: a rise of more than 50% on a tool you use lightly is the point at which people start asking the forum question above. The free-tier cut-back matters most to the same group, who used it to keep an occasional eye on a listing without paying, and the lack of grandfathering meant the change landed on the next renewal rather than at a date of your choosing.
What Keepa is still best at
Being fair about this is the only way the rest of the guide is useful. Keepa is genuinely the better fit if your day looks like one of these:
- History on ASINs you have never tracked. Keepa’s database goes back years, so you can open any listing and see its price and sales-rank story without having watched it first. No tracker that reads the live page can give you that — a tracker starts recording on the day you add the ASIN.
- The browser extension. Charts overlaid on the Amazon page itself, while you browse. If your research happens inside Amazon rather than in a dashboard, that workflow is hard to give up.
- Japan, India and Latin America. Keepa covers amazon.co.jp, .in, .com.mx and .com.br. If you sell there, it is one of the few options.
If that is your daily workflow, keep Keepa and treat the rise as the cost of a database. The rest of this guide is for everyone else.
When a listing tracker is the cheaper fit
A listing tracker does a narrower job than Keepa and charges accordingly: it reads the live product page for the ASINs you tell it to watch, once a day, and keeps every reading. Three situations make it the better buy.
- You watch a defined set of ASINs. Your own catalogue plus the competitors that matter is usually a list of tens, not thousands. AMZ Selling Tools charges a flat $0.10 per ASIN per month, so 50 listings cost $5 and 100 cost $10, against Keepa’s €29 whatever the count.
- You need the fields Keepa doesn’t chart. Keepa is built around price and sales-rank history. A tracker records the whole page a shopper sees — Buy Box winner, stock and availability, delivery promise, title, bullets, images, A+ content, sellers, the “bought in past month” badge, 90+ fields in all — and can email you when any of them changes, not only when a price drops.
- You sell on amazon.nl, .se, .pl, .com.be or .com.au. Keepa does not cover them. AMZ Selling Tools tracks all five alongside the US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Canada — 12 marketplaces, checked from 22 shopper locations, including city-level locations in the US and Canada, so the price, delivery date and Buy Box you record are the ones a customer in that place actually sees.

How to switch without losing history
The history you built up in Keepa is the one thing a new tool cannot replace, so the order of operations matters more than the tool.
- Export what you need from Keepa first. Any tracker that reads the live page starts its record on the day you add an ASIN; nothing back-fills the years before. Save the charts and data you refer back to while your subscription is still active.
- Write down the ASINs you actually watch. For most sellers that is tens to a few hundred, not the thousands a flat fee is priced for. That list is your monthly cost: multiply it by $0.10.
- Run both tools during the free trial. Every new AMZ Selling Tools account starts with a free 30-day trial — up to 10 products, 10 checks a day, no card. Add your most important listings, let the daily checks run for a couple of weeks, and compare the readings side by side before you cancel anything.
- Recreate the alerts and exports you relied on. Set your price alerts up as tracker alerts, add the ones Keepa could not send — a Buy Box change, an availability change, a change in the listed sellers — and connect Google Sheets or the API if you pulled data programmatically.
- Cancel once the trial data satisfies you. Keep a few days of overlap so there is no gap in the record, and keep the Keepa export somewhere you can find it.
The full comparison with Keepa sets the two tools side by side, the pricing page shows what any number of ASINs costs, and the home page lists every field a daily check records.
Common questions
Is there a free Keepa alternative?
Not from us: AMZ Selling Tools is a paid product at a flat $0.10 per ASIN per month, so 50 listings cost $5 a month. Every new account starts with a free 30-day trial of up to 10 products, 10 checks a day, with no card required. Keepa’s own free tier was cut back in 2026; what it still includes is best checked on Keepa’s site.
Does AMZ Selling Tools show price history like Keepa?
Partly. Every daily check is kept, so price, rank and 90+ other fields build a dated history from the day you add an ASIN, viewable per field in the tracker and exportable to CSV, Google Sheets or the read-only API. It does not back-fill the years before you started tracking; for that, Keepa’s database is the source.
Can I track more than one marketplace?
Yes. The same ASIN can be tracked in any of 12 Amazon marketplaces — the US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Poland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Belgium, Canada and Australia — from 22 shopper locations, including city-level locations in the US and Canada. Each marketplace counts as its own listing, with its own price, rank, Buy Box and availability.
How much does tracking 100 ASINs cost?
$10 a month: 100 ASINs at a flat $0.10 per ASIN per month, which covers 30 daily checks per ASIN. 50 ASINs cost $5, 500 cost $50, and one-time credit packs at the same rate never expire.
One flat price. No hidden costs.
One price per ASIN, whatever you track — no volume games, no add-ons. Every new account starts with a free 30-day trial (10 products, checked daily, no card), and one-time credit packs never expire.
